Jonah poured himself a big fat glass of canola oil this afternoon thinking it was juice. I heard him spit a mouthful out and say "ew!!" I turn around and see what he's holding and instead of sympathizing and asking if he's ok of course my reaction is, "Jonah! What are you doing??!!!" Poor kid, he has such a weak stomach anyway and of course it was a complete mistake that he drank it. Why do I always react rashly in panic?? I followed him around for the next half hour asking if he felt ok. He kept his cookies down thankfully and he's cuddling on my arm as I type, excited to make my blog again. He'll do anything to get on here.
