We celebrated my sister Vicki's 31st birthday last night with dinner at my parents' house. Jonah was all over the preparations and spent two hours baking brownies and helping Nana set the table for her Vicki's big birthday dinner. He was so excited to come over to our house and announce "dinner is ALMOST ready!" He also served the brownies to us individually (I, for some reason, was given the smallest one). He just glowed with his role of being a host. He even prayed a birthday prayer for Vicki and thanked God for making Vicki "thirty onederful". It was very sweet, authentic, from the heart.
Right now my three children are dancing to salsa music and Davey is incorporating his baseball mit into his routine. Amazing.
