Jonah has always been an early riser and the Fall time change does not work in our favor. This boy has been up at 4:45-5:15am all week. I can hear the creak of his bunk bed ladder, the pad of his feet across the floor, the pause at our doorway and then the fast run of the last few steps with a big dive onto our bed, or really onto me. He then bruises my legs with his bony knees as he climbs to the middle of Trav and I, starts mumbling and laughing to himself, and then climbs on top of Travis to "puddle" which is our word for cuddle that we still use. It's sort of a brutal awakening for us. Jonah wakes up with all energy and cheerfulness in the morning, and he's a heap of emotion and exhaustion by 7 at night. Hopefully he'll ease into waking up more around the 6am range in the next few days...

Jonah, you are adorable!
That is some seriously one-sided puddling. Poor Trav.
